Our Vision: Think, Believe, Achieve

At Sexton’s Manor Primary School, our vision is simple and powerful:
we nurture curious thinkers, confident believers, and determined achievers.
Everything we do supports children to grow as resilient, reflective, and enthusiastic learners.
Think
We encourage children to develop an inquiring mindset and a love of learning.
Our classrooms promote curiosity, collaboration and independence, helping every child access learning at their level.
Through our “Building Learning Power” approach, we help pupils become reflective, resourceful and resilient thinkers.
Believe
We believe every child deserves to feel valued, respected and inspired.
We provide a safe, calm and nurturing environment where children learn to respect themselves and others.
Our creative and engaging curriculum aims to spark imagination, build confidence and develop strong self-belief.
Achieve
We help children develop a positive attitude to learning so they can take risks, respond to challenges and grow as independent learners.
High expectations and a strong culture of support enable all pupils to reach their goals and continually improve.
We aspire for every child to leave Sexton’s Manor as a confident, capable and enthusiastic lifelong learner.
British Values
We actively promote British Values—democracy, rule of law, individual liberty, mutual respect, and tolerance of different faiths and beliefs—through our values, curriculum and wider opportunities.
These principles are woven into daily school life to help children grow into respectful, responsible citizens.
We show these values by being:
Ready
I am ready for the school day; I dress appropriately for each day in my school uniform. I have the correct equipment. I always have my reading book. I line up quietly before lessons. I enter the classroom quietly and calmly. I look at the person talking.
Respectful
I am kind to everyone. I value different opinions. I say sorry if I make a wrong choice. I listen to others with care. I take turns when I am talking and make sure, I do not interrupt anyone when answering or joining in, I follow instructions. I have good manners, using please and thank you. I use an inside voice when talking inside and am respectful when answering others, even when I don’t agree. I look after things I am using.
Safe
I am safe around the school. I use equipment as instructed and with care. I do not leave a room without an adult knowing, I keep my table and peg tidy and pick things up if I drop them. I am sensible when playing outside. I don’t play in a way which might hurt myself or others and look out for younger children.
