Sports Premium
As part of the 2012 London Olympics legacy the Government pledged to improve participation in sporting activities across the country. Part of this legacy has seen additional money allocated to schools each financial year since 2013 as 'Sport Premium'. For each school an amount, £8000, is allocated and then an additional £5 per child.
Money was allocated to schools to:
- develop or add to the PE and sport activities that your school already offers
- make improvements now that will benefit pupils joining the school in future years
In 2022/2023 we were allocated £17,495.
